15 October 2005: Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mrs. Sajide Minhaj Mukul, Vice President of WEAB and Mrs. Mehreen Ilahi, Co-Chairperson of Standing Committee of Women Entrepreneur FPCCI, to strengthen the relationship between the business women of Pakistan and Bangladesh, to promote cooperation in trade, investment, services and women empowerment between both countries.
After the widely acclaimed First South Asian Women Entrepreneur Eid Festival 2004, WEAB and High Commission of Pakistan to Bangladesh organized the Second Asian Women Entrepreneur Eid Festival 2005, on a grander scale. In addition to the SAARC nations, Turkey and Indonesia were new entrants. Among the 60 participants was the well-known barbacue chef of Pakistan, Bundoo Khan who was flown in, to participate in the festival.
