WEAB Delegation Attends World Women’s Forum 2025 in Mongolia
On 24 August 2025, a Bangladeshi delegation led by Ms. Nasreen Fatema Awal, Vice Chairperson of Multimode Group and Founder President of WEAB (Women Entrepreneurs Association of Bangladesh), attended the World Women’s Forum 2025 in Mongolia. The delegation included Tazima Hossain, Monojaha Islam, Shums Rayaan, Anjuman Ara, Tanzila Hossain, Faatin Haque, Nasrina Bari, Yasmin Rahman, Mahmuda Haque, Irene Talukdar, and Sabriha Haque, the majority of whom are proud members of WEAB, representing Bangladesh’s women entrepreneurs on this prestigious global platform.
At the Forum, Ms. Awal joined as a panelist in the session on “Gender-Inclusive Trade & Entrepreneurship – How to Expand Women’s Role in Domestic and Cross-Border Markets.” She highlighted the indispensable role of women in driving inclusive economic growth, expanding cross-border trade and entrepreneurship, and building market access for women both domestically and internationally. Her insights were widely appreciated by the global attendees.
Beyond the formal sessions, the delegation had the opportunity to meet with prominent dignitaries—including the President of Mongolia, the Secretary of the Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and the Secretary of the Prime Minister of Mongolia. These invaluable interactions paved the way for further bilateral collaboration and strengthened diplomatic goodwill between the two nations.
In addition to the Forum, the delegates also explored Mongolian culture and heritage, making the trip both meaningful and memorable.
Overall, the program was a resounding success—a powerful testament to Bangladesh’s growing leadership in women's entrepreneurship and its expanding global footprint, anchored by the vision and influence of WEAB.
